Character: Building Character Muscles

Question of the Week
How is my life rich?

Something to Think About
If I keep my good character, I shall be rich.
Platonicus

The American Heritage Dictionary defines rich as "possessing great material wealth." It goes on to define rich as "having great worth or value, having an abundant supply, meaningful and significant, very productive."

A person can enjoy a rich life without having much money or many possessions. She might be rich in love and respect. She might have an abundant supply of good health or good humor. She might have great value in the community because of her honesty or her determination. She might possess a wealth of knowledge. A person of good character is always rich because she prospers in the things that count.

Something to Write About
Describe the ways in which your life is rich. Which positive character traits do you possess that help make your life rich? Name one character muscle you might need to strengthen so you can enjoy a richer life at school and at home.
