of Hope:
Kindness/Unity
Two days after the terrorist attacks,
a small marching band from Alabama climbed into a van and headed
for New York City.
Hope/Helpfulness
During any difficult time in life, it's
easy to feel hopeless or helpless, but the truth is, there is
always something to be hopeful about, and there are always ways
to be helpful.
Unity/Strength
Sometimes when we are hurting, we
feel like we are all alone with our sadness. America has been
grieving since the events of September 11th, but you are not alone.
Heroes/Priorities
From this terrible tragedy came
a renewed recognition of the everyday heroes who help make our
world a better place.
Unity/Doing What's Right

Acts of Terrorism:
Attack on America
Hatred created this great tragedy.
We can do our best to bring more respect and understanding into
the world.
Love/Overcoming Hate
Love unites and connects us. Hate separates
and divides us. Jose Marti understood what happens when people love
and when people hate.
Overcoming
Each of us has the power to increase peace
and happiness in our world by choosing to treat others kindly and
respectfully.
