Our
Weekly and Monthly Themes help establish a "virtue
vocabulary" on campus and provide a focal point for
the week or month. These themes represent specific values
as well as the benefits of the application of those values
(e.g., "Courage and Confidence: Overcoming Obstacles.")
Because the school year varies from district to district,
and because individual schools implement the program differently,
we have provided weekly themes as well as two charts of
monthly themes. One chart starts in August and ends in May,
the other starts in September and ends in June.
Things to know before you implement:
- Above you will find access
to the charts and links needed for implementing the weekly
or monthly themes. Broadcast messages, journal pages,
and lesson plans associated with each theme are grouped
for your convenience and are ready to print.
- Each theme has a correlating
quote that encapsulates the theme and can be posted on
marquees or in parent newsletters.
- Each theme also correlates
with an online Educator Resource Site message and lesson
plan available to Premium Subscribers.
- There are also links to journal
pages that can be used in conjunction with the weekly
or monthly themes.
